Kinku from Annika Joachim

The otherwise cylindrical shape of the Kinku carafe is modified by a minor intervention: two tapering kinks create a fluid transition between a perfect and a truncated circle. The resulting edge serves as a spout. The same form, inverted and transferred to the beaker, ensures a pleasant grip. The straight-edged spout ensures the lid of the carafe can be lifted and removed effortlessly.
