Frans created the model with his typical organic design language, characterized by a preference for curves and curved lines

Noteworthy are the distinct choices in Rialto's design. The kink in the back is a design element that allows the model to remain slim and suggests comfort from the outside. Described as a "standing collar," this high back offers intimacy for profound conversations. Ergonomically, it ensures optimal comfort and lumbar support.

Moreover, almost no line is just a straight line in the design. For example, the armrest runs in different planes from top to bottom. The seam pulled into the kink on the outside is a demonstration of true craftsmanship in upholstery technique.

The sofa stands on an oak frame that fully subscribes to the design language. The outer sides of the legs are rounded and follow the same planes as the sofa above. It is a technical feat that completes the whole.
