Moss lamps & luminaires

MODERN LIGHTING DESIGN IN HARMONY WITH NATURE

Freund moss lamps and luminaires provide a creative way to serve the growing desire for greenery in enclosed spaces

Our moss lamps and luminaires form the perfect symbiosis between natural materials and modern lighting design. Various scientific studies prove that in a natural environment we feel better, more healthy and more productive. Freund moss luminaires bring this positive effect into interior spaces. Our green designer lamps are real visual highlights in any interior layout and also have a positive acoustic impact: the moss surfaces in particular absorb sound waves between 500 and 3,000 hertz, ensuring a quieter environment. The moss surface is ideally suited to absorbing sound in the frequency range of human speech especially, around 2,000 Hz.

Only real preserved natural mosses are used in the production of our green lamps. Our patented preservation process means the moss stays fresh long-term without any watering or care. This way, you can enjoy our evergreen natural product for many years to come.

Every luminaire is produced to individual specifications of size, shape and material. This means luminaires can also be combined with other Freund materials in a biophilic design. We’d love to assist you in the planning and selection process for using our natural luminaires.
